Am I eligible?

Weight loss injections are not suitable for everyone. Eligibility depends
on your health, not just your weight. We assess this carefully to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate.

Understanding
your eligibility

We carefully assess your health, medical history and circumstances to determine whether weight loss injections are safe, appropriate and suitable for you.

Who may be eligible?

You may be considered for weight loss injections if:

  • Your BMI meets clinical prescribing criteria
  • You have struggled to lose weight with lifestyle measures alone
  • Treatment is medically safe based on your health and medications

Eligibility is assessed individually by a UK GP following a medical review. Meeting criteria does not guarantee treatment, safety always comes first.

What we assess?

Before prescribing, our doctors review:

  • Your height, weight, and BMI
  • Your medical history
  • Current medications
  • Any previous weight loss treatments
  • Relevant risk factors

This helps us decide whether weight loss injections are appropriate - and if so, which option may be safest.

Got questions?

Got a question? We’ve got the answers. Explore our full FAQs page or send us a WhatsApp. We’re happy to answer any queries you might have.

When might weight loss injections not be suitable?

Weight loss injections may not be appropriate if you have certain medical conditions, are taking specific medications, or if the risks outweigh the potential benefits. If treatment isn’t suitable, we’ll explain why and discuss next steps.

You will never be prescribed medication simply because you request it.

Do I need to choose an injection first?

No. You don’t need to decide between Mounjaro or Wegovy before completing an assessment. Your GP will recommend the most appropriate option — or advise against treatment if needed.

What happens if I’m eligible?

If treatment is appropriate, a GP will prescribe the most suitable medication, you’ll receive clear guidance on how to use it safely and we’ll arrange ongoing reviews and monitoring.

Treatment always includes medical oversight — not just a prescription.

What happens if I’m not eligible

If weight loss injections aren’t right for you we’ll explain the reasons clearly, we won’t prescribe medication and we’ll support you with alternative next steps.

Our role is to guide you safely — not to push treatment.
