Weight loss injections may not be appropriate if you have certain medical conditions, are taking specific medications, or if the risks outweigh the potential benefits. If treatment isn’t suitable, we’ll explain why and discuss next steps.
You will never be prescribed medication simply because you request it.
No. You don’t need to decide between Mounjaro or Wegovy before completing an assessment. Your GP will recommend the most appropriate option — or advise against treatment if needed.
If treatment is appropriate, a GP will prescribe the most suitable medication, you’ll receive clear guidance on how to use it safely and we’ll arrange ongoing reviews and monitoring.
Treatment always includes medical oversight — not just a prescription.
If weight loss injections aren’t right for you we’ll explain the reasons clearly, we won’t prescribe medication and we’ll support you with alternative next steps.
