People in the UK live with undiagnosed type 2 diabetes

Many common conditions develop quietly - before you'd notice anything

A wellbeing check isn't just for people who feel unwell. It's a proactive snapshot of your health - identifying risks early, when action is most effective.

Is this right for me?

You’ve never had a health check

Adulthood gets busy. A check at any age gives you a meaningful baseline to build on.

You’ve had a health scare

Reassurance and clarity - knowing your numbers and having a plan is far better than worrying.

You have a family history of illness

Conditions like heart disease, diabetes and thyroid disorders have a genetic component. Early awareness changes outcomes.

You feel tired or below par

Low energy, poor sleep, unexplained weight change - a blood panel often reveals the reason.

You want an annual check-in

Many of our patients treat this as a yearly ritual - monitoring trends in their health over time.

You simply want peace of mind

Knowing you're well is genuinely valuable. A wellbeing check is an investment in feeling in control.

Three steps to a clearer picture of your health

We've designed this around your life - not a hospital timetable. Every step is personal, expert-led, and convenient.

Wellbeing Health Check

£290

A thorough blood test reviewed by your GP, with a personalised health report and action plan. Understand what's going on inside — and what to do about it.

  • GP consultation to learn more about you and choose the most suitable tests
  • Detailed health report with personalised recommendations
01

Initial GP consultation

Your GP takes time to understand your health history, lifestyle, and any concerns before a single test is ordered. Together, you decide which tests are right for you.

02

Blood tests at home

A qualified nurse visits your home at a time that suits you to take your blood sample. No waiting room, no travel. Blood pressure and BMI are measured at the same visit.

03

Results & personal health plan

Your GP walks you through every result in detail during a follow-up consultation. You receive a written report and a personalised plan to act on what you've learned.

A blood panel that covers
the things that matter

Your initial GP consultation shapes exactly which tests you have - but our standard panel covers the key markers of long-term health. All analysis is carried out by a CQC-accredited laboratory.

Heart health

Cholesterol levels including HDL, LDL and triglycerides to assess cardiovascular risk.

Diabetes risk

HbA1c blood sugar test to check for pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes risk.

Liver function

A panel of liver enzymes to assess how well your liver is working.

Kidney function

Urea and creatinine to assess kidney filtration and overall renal health.

Thyroid

TSH and related markers to check your thyroid is regulating your energy and metabolism properly.

Vitamins & minerals

Vitamin D, B12, iron profile and magnesium - deficiencies that affect millions but go undiagnosed.

Full blood count

Red and white blood cells, platelets and haemoglobin - a broad picture of your general health.

Inflammation (CRP)

C-reactive protein test to detect inflammation that may indicate infection or chronic disease.

Hormone levels

Testosterone for men; FSH, LH and oestradiol for women — hormones that shape how you feel every day.

Blood pressure
& BMI

Checked at your home visit. Two key indicators of cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Optional add-ons

Advanced cardiovascular panel

Includes Lipoprotein (a), ApoB and ApoA. Recommended for anyone with a family history of heart disease or who wants a deeper picture of their cardiovascular health and wellbeing.

Cancer screening add-ons

A prostate cancer PSA blood test or a bowel cancer FIT test can be added where appropriate.

"The most common thing I hear after a wellbeing check is: 'I wish I'd done this
years ago.' People come in nervous and
leave feeling empowered - because
knowing what's going on inside your
body puts you in control."

What our patients say

100% recommend this service!

My husband was bitten by a spider while we were in the UK, and the bite got infected. It was late in the evening, and we couldn’t get hold of a local GP. Luckily, we found Message GP, an online GP service. The service was efficient and excellent — we had a video call, explained the situation, and the provider gave us all the information we needed. My husband received his prescription quickly.

A wonderful service!

My daughter suffers with a variety of conditions Pemphigus Vulgarise chronic psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis with that being hard enough this team was able to support my daughter and help her with her continuing medication Dr. Arpit a cannot thank and recommend enough a great service.

It was so quick and hassle-free

As we all know, it’s so difficult to get a GP appointment here in London. When I was in pain and discomfort, I started looking for other options and booked MessageGP. It was so quick and hassle-free—I could have a video consultation within 15 minutes, even at night. The doctor was also responsive the next day when I messaged with some follow-up queries. Thanks a lot for the care and prompt support!

Highly recommend!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Arpit. I was in London for work travel and needed an urgent GP appointment. Dr. Arpit was so responsive, helpful and professional. I was so grateful to be able to get a tele-health appointment on short notice and take care of the situation.

Incredible service!

Dr. Amit was professional, kind, and extremely helpful. I was able to book a consult on Easter Sunday and he also helped me find a pharmacy that was open, so I was able to get medication on a holiday. I am so grateful I found this service! I highly recommend and will use again myself.

I would use this service over and over again

Arpit has been fantastic. Supportive, helpful, kind and took the time to understand what I needed and gave me realistic advice, explaining it all clearly. He responded quickly to my emails and has just been brilliant. He put me at ease immediately and I have been extremely pleased with the service I have received. I would use this service over and over again.

Exceptional Care and Support

Arpit is extremely knowledgable in all medical conditions and has really helped me with my skin problems. He is a very kind and caring professional and I would recommend anyone to see him!

If only every other service in healthcare was as good as the experience I had

I had Dr. Arpit call me to enquire more about my condition even before spending any money for a consultation. It was decided that I should rather go see a specialist so he phoned me without even expecting any payment. Rather he was more interested in seeking the best pathway for my condition.

Really great service!

It took 30mins to register, have a consultation and have the antibiotics prescribed and in my hand. A quick online video call which has saved me hours at the doctors. Thank you Dr Amit for looking after me.

Got Questions?

Got a question? We’ve got the answers. Explore our full FAQs page or send us a WhatsApp. We’re happy to answer any queries you might have.

Do I need a referral from my NHS GP?

No. You can book directly — no referral needed. This is a private service and you can access it at any time, entirely independently of your NHS care.

Do I need to fast beforehand?

For some blood tests — particularly cholesterol and blood sugar — fasting for 8–10 hours beforehand gives the most accurate results. Your GP will confirm exactly what is needed for your specific tests during the initial consultation, and our team will remind you ahead of your home visit.

How long does the whole process take?

From your initial GP consultation to your follow-up results appointment, most patients complete the full process within one to two weeks. Blood results are typically returned within 3–5 working days of your home visit.

What does the home visit involve?

A qualified nurse visits you at home at a time that suits you. They will take your blood sample, measure your blood pressure, and check your BMI — it usually takes around 20–30 minutes. You do not need to prepare anything beyond any fasting requirements your GP has advised. Do let us know if you have a needle phobia so we can make any necessary adjustments.

What if something concerning is found?

Your GP will explain any results clearly during your 30-minute follow-up consultation — we never simply hand you a report to interpret alone. If you need onward care — whether that is your NHS GP or a hospital specialist — we will help you understand your next steps and help you navigate the right path forward.

Will you share my results with my NHS GP?

With your consent, we will write to your NHS GP with a summary of any clinically significant findings. This helps keep your NHS records current and ensures continuity of your care. You can let us know your preference during the initial consultation.

Is this the same as an NHS health check?

Not quite. NHS health checks are offered to adults aged 40–74 and focus primarily on cardiovascular risk. Our wellbeing check is available to any adult, covers a broader range of markers, and includes two GP consultations — one before and one after your results — giving you much more time to talk through your health and wellbeing in detail.

Can I add extra tests?

Yes. Our advanced cardiovascular panel — Lipoprotein (a), ApoB, ApoA, and active B12 — is available as an add-on for £100. A PSA prostate cancer blood test or bowel cancer FIT test can also be arranged where clinically appropriate. All add-ons are discussed and agreed during your initial GP consultation.

Is this service available across England?

Our GP consultations take place via video call and our home blood draw service is available nationwide — so wherever you are in England, we can come to you.
